No need for a hunting dog, nor a "working" dog.

No need to have a young or highly trained dog either.
All dogs can participate in truffle hunting! From curious puppies (starting at 5 months) to lively senior dogs, including shy, sensitive, or a bit "too" energetic dogs. Every dog can learn at their own pace, respecting their needs, emotions, and history.
Truffle hunting, as I teach it at 1 Vie 2 Chiens, is not a performance; it’s an experience. A way to build trust, to learn gently, to listen to each other, and to marvel at what our dogs can do… when we give them the opportunity.
